PRODUTIONPROCESS

LET ME SHOW YOU OUR PRODUCTIONPROCESS OF PRESSBRAKE TOOLS

1. The Selection Of Raw Materials

42CrMo4 is a high-quality, low-alloy steel renowned for its excellent mechanical properties, they are high strength and toughness, excellent Hardness and wear resistance.

The selection of high-quality raw materials is the fundamental guarantee for the quality of HZMT pressbrake tools

2.Milling And Rough Machining

This is the “rough shaping” stage. Using saws and lathes, the general shape of the tool is formed, but it’s still oversized. The critical V-groove for the die or the tip for the punch is initially formed.

3.Heat Treatment (The "Hardening" Step)

This is the most crucial step for durability. The tools are heated to a very high temperature and then rapidly cooled (quenched). This process makes the steel extremely hard but also brittle.

4.Tempering

To reduce brittleness, the tools are reheated to a lower temperature and then cooled. This perfect balance gives the tool its final combination of high hardness and necessary toughness, so it doesn’t chip or break under pressure.

5.Precision Grinding (The Finishing Touch)

After hardening, the tools are too hard to cut. So, precision grinding is used to achieve the final, exact dimensions and a mirror-like finish. This step creates the sharp, accurate radii and angles that are critical for a perfect bend.

6.Quality Control & Inspection

Each tool is carefully inspected for dimensions, hardness, and surface quality. It is then cleaned, and crucial information (like angle, radius, and manufacturer) is permanently marked on it.

7.Packing

Finally, the finished tools are protected with film, then carefully packed in wooden wooden carton and carefully to prevent any damage during shipping.
